On May 21, Oceus announced it have been awarded an $88.4M agreement to develop a Platform for Cyber Enhanced Orchestration (PCEO) for the U.S. Air Force, Air Force Material Command and Air Force Research Laboratory.
Under this Other Transaction for Prototype Contract, Oceus will develop a fully operational prototype range. The range will integrate several broadband networks for rapid capability development in a real-world environment, utilizing specific tools and methods to determine effectiveness. This initiative will provide higher visibility and understanding of risks, potential exploits and increased capabilities across all domains when using or defending against non-traditional technologies.
“This award further advances our tool suite and orchestration platform to increase the cyber profile of wireless systems,” said Jeff Harman, CEO of Oceus. “We are keenly focused on making commercial systems meet mission objectives now – shortening the time from trial to field use with a fully understood cyber profile. Oceus is creating and leveraging innovative technologies to solve the complex communications needs of today’s warfighter.”
