NT Concepts’ Nights Watch earns Tradewinds “Awardable” status

NT Concepts announced on July 9 that its Nights Watch Adversarial AI platform has achieved dual “Awardable” status on the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office’s (CDAO) Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace (TSM), securing placement across both the standard marketplace and the specialized SBIR/STTR Aisle.

The TSM is the premier offering of Tradewinds, the Department of War’s (DoW) suite of tools and services designed to accelerate the procurement and adoption of AI/ML, data, and analytics capabilities. Dual placement gives acquisition officials maximum flexibility to rapidly procure Nights Watch’s mission-critical AI defense and assurance capabilities.

Autonomy is scaling rapidly across the battlespace, making the defense of edge systems against adversarial exploitation a core requirement for mission success. Nights Watch secures AI models and data across the visual domain, hardens systems against adversarial attacks, and protects the integrity of the modern targeting loop.

With Awardable status in both TSM aisles, Nights Watch is immediately accessible to DoW components and federal agencies. Through the SBIR/STTR Aisle, the platform is also eligible for streamlined Phase III acquisition pathways under 15 U.S.C. § 638, enabling faster transition to operational deployment without competitive re-solicitation.

“As AI becomes embedded in every layer of the mission—from sensing to targeting—the need for resilient, tamper‑proof models has never been more urgent”, said Chris Powell, chief technology officer at NT Concepts. “Nights Watch gives operators a decisive advantage by ensuring their AI systems remain trustworthy, uncompromised, and ready for real-world conditions. It’s the assurance layer required for the next generation of autonomous and intelligence-driven operations.”

Nights Watch is an API-accessible defense framework that integrates directly into existing AI pipelines without infrastructure overhauls. Deployable from enterprise cloud environments to contested edge systems—including unmanned surface vehicle (USV) targeting platforms—the framework delivers full-lifecycle AI assurance by identifying vulnerabilities and alerting operators to threats in real time.
