NRO seeks possible vendors for security clearance background investigations

On August 26, the National Reconnaissance Office posted a sources sought notice for background investigations. Expressions of interest from possible vendors are due no later than September 8.

The National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) Office of Security and Counterintelligence (OS&CI) is conducting market research for providers of security processing for initial investigations and periodic reinvestigations for Top Secret/SCI (SSBI and SSBI/PR) and Secret Level Access (FIS Tier 3 SLA and SLA/PR) clearances in accordance with Federal Investigation Standards and Intelligence Community Directive 704.

The Government will be conducting one-on-ones with interested vendors. The intent of the one-on-ones is to provide potential vendors a better understanding of the NRO requirements. Please email the Contract Specialist Kim Mogollon at Mogollon@nro.mil expressing your interest no later than 8 September 2016. Additional instructions will then be provided for one-on-one sessions.
