NGA wants help safeguarding its SCIF in Aurora, CO
The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency wants to find a vendor that can provide personnel to respond to after-hours or weekend alarms from an intrusion detection alarm system in an NGA facility in Aurora, CO.
The alarm systems monitors a Special Compartmental Information Facility (SCIF) at the NGA’s Integrated System Program Office in Aurora, says a sources sought notice released on July 16. Prospective contractors have until July 25 to respond.
“This facility is a four story commercial office building of which the ISPO occupies a 4,672 sq. ft office suite on the third floor,” says the agency’s statement of work.
During the past year, there were seven alarm notifications and three panel resets required at this location in Colorado, the notice added.
