NGA to hold Olympus Industry Day

On July 24, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency released an Industry Day/Technical Exchange Meeting for the new Olympus program. The event will take place on August 13, and RSVPs are due no latre than 12:00 p.m. Eastern on August 3.

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), in support of the Source Operations and Management Directorate, intends on hosting an Industry Day/Technical Exchange Meeting (TEM) with interested vendors for the new Olympus Program. This unclassified event will outline NGA’s plans for the Olympus Program acquisitions. To date, a number of interested vendors, to include data brokers, content and data service providers, integrators and developers have submitted comments and questions to the two Olympus Requests for Information (RFI) posted to the unclassified Acquisition Resource Center (ARC) and FedBizOpps. We appreciate the responses to date, and plan to address them at this event. All interested parties from industry, academia, and government are encouraged to attend.

The Industry Day will provide attendees with the latest information regarding the Olympus acquisition model and requirements being executed through various contract vehicles. At this event, attendees will have an opportunity to listen to speakers and to ask questions about requirements. To ensure a best possible response, questions for the Olympus PMO should be provided at the time of registration. Those questions will be presented to the appropriate personnel and oral responses will be provided during a moderated Q&A. Additionally, there will be time for networking during the event.
