NGA to hold industry day for Janus procurements

On September 12, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency posted an industry day invitation for the Janus Geography and Janus Geomatics acquisitions. The conference will take place on October 2 and 3. The registration deadline is 9:00 a.m. CT on September 25.

NGA will hold an industry day conference, and one-on-one sessions for the Janus Geography and Janus Geomatics procurements. Activities are scheduled for October 2-3, 2017 at the T-REX facility in downtown St. Louis. (The morning of October 2, 2017 will be reserved for the conference and the one-on-one sessions will be scheduled in the afternoon. October 3, 2017 will be reserved for additional one-on-one sessions, if necessary, based on the number of requests).

Draft documents will be posted on the NRO’s unclassified ARC website at: for the Geography Solicitation and for the Geomatics Solicitation.

Attendance at the industry day conference or the one-on-one sessions is not required nor will it affect the Government’s review of any resulting proposal positively or negatively. In addition, the Government will not cover any expense incurred by attending either the industry day conference or the one-on-one sessions. Attendees are responsible for all of their expenses and no meals will be provided.

Interested companies or groups may register up to four (4) representatives for both the conference and the one-one one sessions. If groups or companies intend on attending the one-on-one sessions for both Geography and Geomatics, they will still be limited to only four (4) representatives. Pre-registration is required and walk-ins will not be accepted. Interested parties may register at or no later than 9:00 a.m. Central Time September 25, 2017. The T-REX is an unclassified facility. Each participant should bring a valid form of ID (license, company ID, e.g.) on morning of conference to validate registration.

Industry Day Conference
