NGA to hold Cloud Tech Talk #3

national-geospatial-intel-112The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) plans to hold a third meeting in its Cloud Tech Talk series on October 14.

NGA invites you to attend its Cloud Tech Talk #3 event Friday, October 14, 2016, at the Vencore, Stonegate I l (SG2) facility in Chantilly, Virginia. St. Louis, MO participation will be via dial-in communications. The event is the third in a series of industry technical exchanges that NGA hosts on the future of cloud adoption at NGA. Anyone in industry or the Intelligence Community (IC) may attend. Seating is on a first come, first serve basis for 200 attendees in Virginia and 50 in St. Louis.

The purpose of the Cloud Tech Talk series is to engage the technical community to discuss transformational cloud adoption efforts that NGA is engaged in to include cloud design patterns, security, data and Dev/Ops. Event #3 follows the general agenda of the previous events and focuses on relaying NGA’s current status and communicating where we are going.

For Cloud Tech Talk #3 we have added a question and answer session with key NGA leaders to further elaborate on intent and next steps. We seek industry feedback on our plans and suggested path forward so we can leverage the larger group insights and lessons learned. In this light, the exchange is geared toward technical individuals working on the topics covered.
