NGA releases updated commercial GEOINT strategy
The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency recently released a commercial GEOINT strategy update, emphasizing innovation in the face of a rapidly advancing technological landscape.
The strategy focuses on partnerships, information assurance and the integration of commercial GEOINT with automation and artificial intelligence.
“NGA has engaged and embraced the rapidly evolving GEOINT environment by expanding our partnerships and applying new technologies onto our expert analytical tradecraft,” said NGA Director Robert Cardillo. “Our updated commercial GEOINT strategy reflects the increased flexibility needed to sustain and grow our strategic advantage.”
Building upon the commercial GEOINT strategy released in 2015, this strategy meets the advancing operating environment and reflects the priority of sustaining American leadership through research, technology and innovation outlined in the National Security Strategy.
