On September 5, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) announced that it is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Prospector. All questions must be received by the government no later than 12:00 p.m. Eastern on September 11. Proposals are due by 12:00 p.m. Eastern on September 19.
NGA has a need to procure a subscription for worldwide access to an existing platform with data and analysis on critical rare earth minerals and battery industrial sectors to enable NGA to gain a more detailed, global view of trade. This will allow NGA to monitor key developments in precious mineral markets, and the precious mineral global supply chains.
This RFP is for the subject contract to be awarded in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 and 13 procedures, and the specific information outlined within this RFP and its attachments. The Government intends to award a single Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract that comprises of a 1-year base period (Base Year) and 4, 1-year option periods (OY1 – OY4).
