NGA releases Portico RFI

On February 16, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) posted the Portico request for information. Responses are due by 5:00 p.m. Eastern on March 5.

NGA is seeking information from Industry sources capable of providing technical expertise and services required to maintain, develop, implement, sustain, and modernize software supporting mission essential NGA capabilities for The Globe.  The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to gain relevant data from Industry.

All contractor personnel must be eligible for a Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret (TS) security clearance based on a single scope background investigation and be eligible for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) at time of the proposal submission, and must maintain the level of security required for the life cycle, if NGA elects to award a future contract following the release of this RFI.

The NGA is conducting market research for a potential requirement for The Globe, the web front door for NGA. NGA is seeking information on potential sources capable of providing secure software support, maintenance, development, and engineering services for an existing mission essential capability available to geospatial intelligence consumers. The NGA requires solutions with innovation and agility in the delivery of high-quality software, applications, and systems for the NGA enterprise environment.
