NGA releases Maru acquisition details

 

On March 28, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) posted a synopsis and update for the Maru acquisition.

The intent of the NGA is to issue Request for Proposal (RFP) HM047623R0007 on or about 12 April 2023 for the Maru acquisition. The Solicitation, attachments and Bidder Library will be posted on the Intelligence Community (IC)-Acquisition Research Center (ARC) Classified website, https://acq.nro.ic.gov. All Offers in response to the Solicitation must be submitted via the IC-ARC Classified website for the Maru acquisition.

The Maru acquisition will provide sustainment of existing Integrated Exploitation Environment (IEC) Application Services (software) and certain related exploitation features for Image Science (e.g., Advanced GEOINT Services (AGS), Image Analysis, Geospatial Analysis, and some data science applications.  Maru will also provide for an agile modernization of the Geospatial Exploitation Environment with a goal of seamless interoperability with other existing and emerging NGA exploitation applications.  A key feature is the efficient interaction with NGA data repositories, orchestration, and identity management, as well as various exploitation tools.

The Government intends to award a single award indefinite-delivery/indefinite -quantity (ID/IQ) to one responsible Offeror in accordance with FAR 9.104-1. The ordering period of the ID/IQ contract will be 60 months. The contract type line items will be Cost-Plus-Fixed Fee, Cost-Plus-Award Fee, and Cost Reimbursable. The acquisition will be Full and Open Competition. The applicable NAICS code is 541511, Custom Computer Programming Services and the small business size standard is $34M. The primary place of performance will be the contractor facilities as approved by the cognizant Contracting Officer.
