NGA releases Astrea RFI

On May 23, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) released the Astrea request for information (RFI). Responses are due by 5:00 p.m. Eastern on June 9.

NGA in support of the Advanced GEOINT Services Program Office is seeking information on how interested contractors could provide the services described in the RFI. The focus is on the measurement of surface optical properties and bulk properties of materials, the development of models that use the measurements to create signatures of interest, and the curation of material databases created by other organizations not software development, maintenance of existing software or exploitation.

The purpose of this RFI is to gain information on current Industry practices that would meet NGA’s requirements.

Review the NGA Astrea RFI.
