NGA posts update on Tundra effort
On May 5, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency posted updated information on its Tundra program (Solicitation Number: HM047616T0003).
This notice is to provide an update on the status of NGA’s Tundra effort. The intent of Tundra effort is to identify ideas and innovative approaches to the development of geospatial intelligence (GEOINT), knowledge, and information as the GEOINT discipline continues to evolve. As such, the Tundra effort will be a pilot project and it is not considered part of NGA’s overarching commercial GEOINT initiative under CIBORG.
Based on the responses to the RFI, the Government anticipates releasing an official Request for Proposal (RFP) as a Small Business Set-Aside in late May 2016. This update should not be construed as a commitment or as authorization to incur cost for which reimbursement would be required or sought. All interested parties are encouraged to continue to check FBO for further information.
