NGA posts CAPE RFI

On December 20, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) released a request for information (RFI) for Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation (CAPE) Cost Support. Responses are due by 5:00 p.m. Eastern on January 6.

NGA in support of CAPE is seeking information on how an interested contractor could support CAPE’s core mission of the development of Agency Cost Positions (ACPs) and related cost and programmatic analyses of acquisition programs. The purpose of this RFI is to gain information on current Industry practices that would meet NGA’s requirements

NGA has a mission-critical need for CAPE provides independent and data driven assessments and program evaluations to drive NGA’s future. Mission activities include:

  • Develop and support effective and efficient resource decisions informed by objective, independent analysis and evaluation of programs and major enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Provide consistent, defensible cost and manpower estimates supported by in-depth analysis that raises the level of resource awareness across the agency.
  • Provide proactive, balanced and effective fiscal planning guidance reflecting current priorities and enabling NGA’s future state.
  • Provide an adaptive capability to conduct and manage credible and pragmatic analyses that are considered in the context of broad NGA, DoD, and IC requirements.
