NGA needs to maintain and repair its gravity meters
The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) issued a solicitation on August 15 for a vendor that can maintain and repair, if necessary, nine CG-5 Relative Gravimeters, which can measure the Earth’s gravity. The gravimeters are currently sitting in St. Louis, MO; Patrick Air Force Base in Florida; and Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico.
The selected vendor will perform annual maintenance and unscheduled repairs of the gravity meters, which were supplied by Micro-g Lacoste, of Lafayette, CO.
The selected contractor must be a Micro-g Lacoste authorized reseller or maintenance provider, says a solicitation document issued by the NGA.
Interested parties must respond by August 22. Further information is available from Adam Gordon, a contract specialist with NGA, at 314-676-0203 or Adam.W.Gordon@nga.mil.
