On November 3, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) posted a request for information (RFI) for the Global Products & Services program. Responses are due by email no later than noon Central Standard Time on November 18.
The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), in support of the Global Products and Services Program, seeks information on how a contractor could produce finished aeronautical small-scale charts, Compressed ARC Digitized Raster (CADRG) on a 28 day cycle and Enhanced Compressed Raster Graphics (ECRG) on a 28 day cycle, Chart Update Manual (CHUM) updates, NAVPLAN Chart Finishing, Expurgation, Overlays, Print/Press Ready Files, GeoPDFs and Emerging Products and Services as an integrated program. Both production efforts must reside together; as newly finished NAVPLAN charts are completed, they must be formatted into CADRG/ECRG to update the current holdings of CADRG/ECRG.
Submitted information should include experience in producing the same or similar products, existing tools and processes, innovative technical approaches, improved methods that produce NAVPLAN charts and format them into CADRG/ECRG.
