NGA awards sole-source to PSU/ARL

On August 26, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) announced that it has issued a sole-source contract to Pennsylvania State University/Applied Research Laboratory (PSU/ARL).

PSU/ARL will provide independent and objective Research and Development (R&D), test and evaluation, systems engineering, and other engineering capabilities in support of NGA Task Order requirements under this IDIQ.  This R&D will include GEOINT tools and software code for sponsor organizations.

Previously this has included software code delivery to open source repositories, to IC-only repositories, reporting, prototypes, integration, and collaboration with integration partners, prototype demonstrations, publications, and direct delivery to the customer. In addition, minor enhancements and upgrades to operational software, and to development of new plug and play modules that will roll into existing operational tools to update their capabilities.
