NASIC to host COMET Industry Day
The Air Force intends to conduct Industry Days to discuss the National Air & Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) Communications and Enterprise Information Technology (COMET) Support Services. The Air Force is gathering additional information in support of market research, NASIC announced July 20.
The Air Force will conduct Industry Days to discuss the COMET requirements outlined in this notice. The purpose of these Industry Days is to further engage industry to gather additional information to support on-going market research. In addition, time will be set aside for one-on-one meetings with Government representatives for each company/team to discuss its capability to meet the requirements.
The Industry Day general meeting, open to all interested contractors, will be hosted remotely via Microsoft Teams from 9:00 a.m. EST to approximately 10:30 a.m. EST on Tuesday, 4 August 2020 . You will need a laptop or PC with a microphone to be able to participate. Notification of attendance is required NO LATER THAN 1:00 p.m. EST 3 August 2020.
Please provide the names, titles, phone numbers, and email addresses of no more than two people who will be attending and include company name, address, business size, and cage code (if applicable). Each company is limited to two remote connections to the Microsoft Teams presentation due to technological constraints.
One on one meetings will be scheduled following the general conference but will be a limited number of presentations and will be reserved on a first come first serve basis. We will be holding one on one meetings 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. EST 4 August; 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. EST 5 & 6 August; and 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. EST 7 August. Participating companies will be allotted up to 30 minutes for the one-on-one session with the Government. Briefing times will be scheduled on a first come, first serve basis and will be assigned via e-mail invitation from Microsoft Teams.
One on one meetings will be scheduled in individual meeting invites to ensure competitors cannot listen in to proposals from other vendors. You will be notified of the industry day agenda, to include your briefing date and time, no later than 5:00 p.m. EST, 3 August 2020. Contractors who have specific questions they would like the Government to address may submit them in advance.
If you did not provide an official response to the RFI, contractors are still invited to participate in the Industry Days. For the one-on-one session, provide an unclassified briefing no longer than one hour in length to address the company or teaming venture’s capability to meet NASIC’s requirements as outlined in the original RFI.
