MORSE Corp earns CMMC Level 2

On June 25, MORSE Corp announced the successful completion of its Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2 assessment conducted by a Certified Third-Party Assessment Organization. MORSE passed the assessment with a perfect 110 score, with zero Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), and zero findings, reflecting a strong, integrated cybersecurity program.

This milestone is a testament to MORSE’s commitment to safeguarding Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and reinforces its position as a trusted partner to the Department of Defense (DoD) and its contracting partners.

“Passing this assessment with a perfect result is a testament not just to compliance, but to the culture of excellence we’ve built across IT and Security,” said Kuba Szwacki, head of IT and security. “At MORSE, we have worked extremely hard to elevate our cybersecurity proficiency and now cybersecurity is a strategic capability that sets us apart. Our ability to deliver with speed, integrity, and confidence is rooted in the systems we’ve built over the last several years and the MORSE team behind them.”

CMMC Level 2 requires full implementation of all the NIST 800-171 Rev. 2 security requirements and assessment objectives. The DoD will require all contractors to be CMMC certified. MORSE’s cybersecurity approach has woven IT and cybersecurity best practices into every layer of its operations—from system architecture to employee behavior.

“We have built a system that supports rapid and agile development, enabling the company to solve complex and multidisciplinary problems for the US national security ecosystem,” said Josh Torgerson, chief operating officer. “Cybersecurity doesn’t have to stifle innovation.”
