LMI achieves CMMC 2.0 Level 2

On August 6, LMI announced that it has achieved the Department of Defense’s (DoD) Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) 2.0 Level 2 with a perfect score of 110. This milestone places LMI among an elite group of approximately 350 companies—that’s less than 1 percent of the entire defense industrial base—to earn this certification.

The CMMC 2.0 certification applies to IronSled, LIGER, and supporting CSP and AI infrastructure services, and demonstrates that LMI meets the required cybersecurity standards for handling Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and can accelerate mission-ready solutions securely for its federal clients.

“This achievement not only validates our robust cybersecurity posture, it strengthens our ability to deliver secure solutions for our defense customers, faster,” said Jonathan Stammler, LMI chief information officer. “With this certification, we can rapidly deploy applications like IronSled and LIGER, and provide secure hosting environments for our customers and partners, expanding opportunities across the defense ecosystem.”

Earning CMMC 2.0 certification significantly streamlines DoD approval processes for LMI applications, enabling the company to host and process CUI data without lengthy authorization-to-operate (ATO) requirements. It also provides a trusted environment for partners to deploy their applications, enhancing LMI’s role in supporting and scaling defense missions.

Doug Wagoner, LMI CEO, added, “Achieving CMMC 2.0 certification underscores LMI’s commitment to mission, delivering the speed and security our customers require. It’s a powerful example of how we bring operational pace and agility to every mission we support.”
