Leo Kosinski Joins Air Space Intelligence as CSO

Air Space Intelligence (ASI), a provider of AI-powered operations software for the world’s most demanding domains, announced on April 9 that Lieutenant General Leo Kosinski, U.S. Air Force (Ret.), has joined the company as its chief strategy officer.

Kosinski brings more than three decades of distinguished military service, culminating as the director of logistics on the Joint Staff, where he advised the chairman of the Joint Chiefs on strategic initiatives in global mobility and contested logistics. His deep expertise in operational planning and national defense strategy will be instrumental as ASI continues to scale its impact across defense and commercial sectors, the company said.

“Leo’s leadership and vision have shaped how the U.S. military thinks about gaining an operational advantage in a more uncertain world,” said Phillip Buckendorf, CEO and co-founder of Air Space Intelligence. “His decision to join ASI underscores our shared belief that we need more deployed AI to simulate and optimize the most complex operations like military logistics.”

As chief strategy officer, Kosinski will help guide ASI’s long-term strategy, forge key partnerships across government and industry, and accelerate the company’s mission to transform decision-making at the speed of relevance.

“I’ve had a front-row seat to the accelerating pace of global conflict and the growing demands of multi-domain operations,” said Kosinski. “ASI is engineering next-generation capabilities that provide decision-makers with the critical foresight and operational advantage needed to counter emerging threats. It’s an honor to join this exceptional team and contribute to a company that’s pushing the boundaries of defense technology in support of national security.”
