Leidos wins $34M DHS task order

Leidos, Inc. of Reston, VA announced on November 6 that it was awarded a task order by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) under the General Services Administration (GSA) One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services (OASIS) contract vehicle. The single-award hybrid task order with cost-plus fixed-fee, firm fixed-price, reimbursable at cost task order line items has a one-year base period of performance, four one-year options, and a total contract value of approximately $34 million, if all options are exercised.

The DHS Office of Emergency Communications (OEC) supports and promotes communications used by emergency responders and government officials to keep America safe, secure, and resilient. OEC’s programs and services coordinate emergency communications planning, preparation, and evaluation to ensure safer and better-prepared communities nationwide.

Under the task order, Leidos will provide scientific, engineering and technical solutions to the DHS OEC, including support for programs that provide specially designed telecommunications services for the national security and emergency preparedness community during all conditions of crisis or emergency. Leidos will also assist with the maintenance and support of the operational legacy priority services and enhancements to provide similar services on new technology platforms.
