Joshua Skule named executive assistant director for the FBI’s intelligence branch

Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director James Comey has named Joshua Skule as the executive assistant director for intelligence at FBI Headquarters (FBIHQ) in Washington, DC, the FBI announced June 23. Skule most recently served as the assistant director of the Directorate of Intelligence.
Skule began his career as a special agent with the FBI in 1998. He was first assigned to the Chicago Division, where he investigated violent crimes and public corruption.
Throughout his career, Skule has held various leadership positions in the Counterterrorism Division and the Washington Field Office, including as the special agent in charge of the Intelligence Division.
Skule will assume this new role effective immediately.
