INSCOM posts RFI for Visual Information Multimedia and Engineering Services (VIMES)
On December 7, the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command posted a request for information for Visual Information Multimedia and Engineering Services (VIMES) (Solicitation Number: W911W4-17-R-0008). Capability statements are due no later than 12:00pm on December 21.
The Army Contracting Command-Warren-United States Army Intelligence and Security Command (ACC WRN-INSCOM) is currently seeking Vendors capable of providing INSCOM with necessary VIMES services support.
The INSCOM’s Visual Information Management Branch (VIMB) mission is to receive, process and disseminate intelligence information via state of the art electronic multimedia systems. Tasked with a global mission, the VIMB provides command oversight, technical guidance, and assistance to Headquarters INSCOM locations at Fort Belvoir and Springfield, VA, INSCOM facilities in Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside Continental United States (OCONUS), MSCs, ARCYBER, Pentagon, INSCOM Intelligence Community (IC) Partner facilities and tenant organizations at Fort Belvoir. Work performed by the VIMB is in a highly secured environment.
ACC WRN-INSCOM is issuing this RFI as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in, and the resources to support INSCOM. The results of this market research will contribute to solidifying the acquisition strategy and assist in determining the method of procurement.
