INSA’s leadership dinner on March 3 will honor NSA Director General Keith Alexander
The Intelligence and National Security Alliance (INSA) has posted details of its upcoming Leadership Dinner on March 3, which will honor General Keith Alexander, director of the National Security Agency.
A two-hour reception will begin at 5:30 pm, followed by a dinner and program, beginning at 7:30 pm. The event will take place at Hilton Alexandria Mark Center, in Alexandria, VA.
The evening will feature a discussion about the evolving nature of intelligence and the important role the National Security Agency and Cyber Command play, explains the INSA Web site. This evening will recognize General Alexander’s impressive career, including his eight years as the director of NSA and his 40 years of active military service as an intelligence officer.
Highlights of the evening’s program will include General Alexander’s reflections on his service as National Security Agency director and commander of the U.S. Cyber Command; the changing nature of intelligence, Big Data and multi-faceted threats; the way ahead for the NSA; and challenges facing the U.S. Intelligence Community in the year ahead.
INSA Leadership Dinners offer a chance for government and industry to network and discuss intelligence issues and security threats, says the group’s Web site. These events also allow INSA members to expand their professional networks within the IC.
