On October 9, EXPANSIA announced that Mike Cosgrave has joined the company as its new chief operating officer (COO). With more than two decades of leadership experience in the government contracting and technology sectors, Cosgrove brings extensive expertise in driving operational excellence and delivering mission-focused solutions across cyber, digital, and national security domains, the company said.
At EXPANSIA, Cosgrove will oversee business operations and execution as the company continues to scale its digital modernization work supporting the nation’s defense and civil space missions. His leadership and operational insight will help strengthen the company’s ability to deliver integrated, innovative, and impactful solutions to clients across the government landscape.
“We couldn’t have asked for a better leader to join our team at a better time,” AJ Jarnagin, CEO of EXPANSIA, said. “As we continue to scale, Mike’s seasoned, growth-minded operational experience will enable our team to deliver quality solutions faster – ultimately enabling the warfighter and our NASA civil space clients to be mission ready now.”
Cosgrove said, “I’m thrilled to join EXPANSIA. Its people-focused culture, cutting-edge technical solutions, and the markets it serves all position EXPANSIA to deliver rapid, innovative capabilities in support of our client’s national security missions. That’s what it’s all about.”
Before joining EXPANSIA, Cosgrove served as COO at Tria Federal and AceInfo Solutions. Earlier in his career, he served as senior vice president at CACI, leading the company’s Cyber Development Group as well as director of special programs at Six3 Systems. He also held senior management and engineering positions at ManTech International and Integrated Data Systems. Cosgrove earned his BA from American University and an MBA from George Mason University.
