Enveil announces new DIU contract

On May 14, Enveil announced a new contract funded by the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) to advance secure data usage in support of the Hybrid Space Architecture (HSA). The effort will leverage Enveil’s capabilities to enable the secure handling, analysis, and sharing of sensitive data needed to efficiently deliver space situation awareness at the speed of mission, further validating the mission-enabling value of Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs).

Building on successful Phase I efforts utilizing space-based collection platforms, the contract will enable DoD organizations to leverage Enveil’s capabilities to collaboratively search and analyze space assets across diverse domains and orbits without compromising the mission interests or intent of the data user. Enveil’s ZeroReveal COTS software will integrate with DIU’s HSA workflows, enabling secure data utilization and fusion across a multi-domain hybrid space architecture to advance use cases including Space Domain Awareness (SDA), integration with commercial imagery providers, and other novel utilizations of cross-silo data holdings. The DIU-led initiative is being executed in collaboration with U.S. Space Force.

“The ability to securely search, analyze, and share sensitive data to extract and deliver critical insights at the speed of mission is foundational to the success of hybrid data environments, including HSA. We are proud to continue working alongside DIU and other customer stakeholders to expand data utility and scalability across the wide range of both commercial and government data sources in the space domain,” said Ellison Anne Williams, CEO of Enveil.
