El Gardner named Aperio Global VP of space operations
On May 10, Aperio Global announced the appointment of Retired Colonel Elvert “El” Gardner as its vice president of space operations. Colonel Gardner joins Aperio Global after a distinguished career in both the United States Air Force and the U.S. Space Force, where he has been at the forefront of advancing the nation’s space strategy and dominance. His military service is marked by leadership responsibilities in critical roles, including director of space strategy and policy for the U.S. Space Force and other senior positions throughout the Department of Defense. His work has been integral in developing the U.S. Space Force Commercial Space Strategy and other institutional policies that shape the United States’ space capabilities.
