ECS names Peter Santighian SVP of defense
On July 25, ECS, a leader in advanced technology, science, and engineering solutions, announced that it has named Peter Santighian senior vice president of defense.
As a member of the ECS executive leadership team, Santighian will be responsible for strategy, growth, and solution delivery related to Department of Defense (DoD) customers — including cybersecurity, cloud, enterprise transformation, AI/ML, and acquisition management solutions.
“I’m thrilled to have Pete join our leadership team,” said John Heneghan, president of ECS. “His 25 years of federal experience and proven ability to grow organizations, build and lead high-performing teams, and deliver mission-enabling solutions for DoD clients will serve us well as we bring even greater capability and focus to our key defense customers’ missions.”
Santighian joins ECS after serving as chief strategy officer at Halvik Corp, which delivers expertise in logistics, digital services, cybersecurity, and advanced analytics solutions to support the DoD. At Halvik Corp, he was responsible for customer delivery, company strategy, business growth, and strategic investments. Santighian has also held senior executive roles with Stanley Associates, CGI, and Edgesource, and served previously as a federal civilian account executive and vice president at ECS.
“I’m excited to rejoin ECS as part of the company’s leadership team and support the expansion of our partnership with the Department of Defense,” said Santighian. “ECS supports some of the nation’s most critical DoD missions with powerful solutions that leverage AI, cyber, and digital transformation expertise for our customer. I’m honored to be able to help build on the company’s track record with the department.”
