ECS named to GSA’s $50B Alliant 2 GWAC

ECS of Fairfax, VA announced on July 26 that it has secured a position on a potential 10-year, $50 billion, government-wide acquisition contract (GWAC) awarded by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA). Services under the Alliant 2 Unrestricted GWAC’s scope include big data, cloud computing, cybersecurity, agile development, biometrics and identity management, sensors and radio frequency identification, data center consolidation, software development, Internet of Things (IoT) and related IT support services.

“As our company grows, we continue to invest in long-term relationships with our nation’s federal agencies,” said George Wilson, president of ECS. “The Alliant 2 award is an important achievement, strengthening our position and providing access to new opportunities to serve the Department of Defense as well as our federal civilian customers.”

The Alliant 2 GWAC is a multiple-award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract providing customized information technology services and solutions. The vehicle will be available for use by all federal agencies and other eligible entities. Out of 170 proposals submitted, 61 companies were awarded a spot on the contract.
