DISA releases revised ENCORE III draft RFP

On October 1, the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) released the revised draft RFP for the ENCORE III solicitation (HC1028-15-R-0030).
The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Multiple Award Contracts Section, PL8313, 2300 East Drive, Scott AFB, IL 62225 hereby issues a draft solicitation for ENCORE III Services (E3). E3 will be a multiple-award, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, with a 5-year base, plus 5, one-year option periods. E3 will provide DISA with a vehicle to procure a wide variety of IT services in support of the Joint Information Environment (JIE) worldwide. Areas to be supported by the contracts include Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) areas, as well as all elements of the Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN). There will be two suites of contracts; full and open competition and a small business set-aside. The scope of both suites will be the same.
In consideration of the numerous questions and answers received the government has evaluated and revised the initial DRAFT RFP. The revised DRAFT RFP will address many of the questions and issues previously raised. The government will continue to receive and consider comments. However, questions will only be answered in response to the final RFP.
