DIA releases Tech South Support RFP

On August 4, the Virginia Contracting Activity, on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), issued solicitation HHM40225R0017 for Tech South Support Services (TS3).  Questions must be submitted by 3:00 p.m. on August 18, and proposals must be submitted by 3:00 p.m. on September 3.

The Government anticipates issuing a Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quality type contract, whereby funds are obligated by issuance of individual Task Orders. The resulting contract will have provisions for Firm-Fixed-Price, and Time- and-Material Task Orders. Primary Place of Performance is Cape Canaveral Space Force Base. This is a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside.

The SOW is to provide technical support services in the three mission areas listed below:

  • Mission Area One: Effect-Based Technology Development
  • Mission Area Two: Advanced Capability Development
  • Mission Area Two: Advanced Capability Development

 

Each of the three mission areas will include projects of varying nature within the terrestrial, maritime and airborne domains.

  • Terrestrial Domain: Technologies may be either manned or unmanned, stationary or mobile, as a standalone system or as a payload integrated into another platform or vehicle.
  • Maritime Domain: Technologies may be either manned or unmanned, as a standalone system or as a payload integrated into another platform or vessel, ranging in size from 2 to 120’.
  • Airborne Domain: Technologies may be standalone small to medium (10-450lb max take-off weight [MTOW]) size unmanned.
