DIA posts Tech South support RFI

On January 24, the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) posted a request for information (RFI) for Tech South support services. Responses are due by 12:00 p.m. Eastern on February 7.

This acquisition is to provide both Research and Development (R&D) and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) non-personal support services for the DIA Directorate for Science and Technology (ST) Office of Advanced Technologies Intelligence (ATI) Tech South.

The mission of DIA/ST is to develop and employ cutting edge scientific and technical (S&T) capabilities; lead and prioritize S&T enterprise programs that enhance analysis, collection, operations, and acquisition activities; and conduct specialized technical collection and exploitation activities in order to prevent strategic surprise. The aim is to provide the user with revolutionary war-winning science and technology capabilities while managing risks to optimize cost, schedule and performance tradeoffs.

Support services are required to supplement and support Government project managers with highly specialized skills and expertise. Due to the unique and multi-faceted work performed by Tech South, the skills sets required to support various project activities may require short-term surges in skilled labor, subject matter experts and possible non-traditional work schedules.
