DIA posts RFI for Apple tech support services
On November 2, the Defense Intelligence Agency posted the following RFI for Apple certified technical support. Questions will be accepted until 3:00 pm Eastern time on November 6. Responses are due no later than 3:00 pm Eastern time on November 13.
This is a Request for Information (RFI) for a tentative requirement to provide technical services and customer support for APPLE® and APPLE®-approved products. As part of its market research, the Virginia Contracting Activity (VaCA) is issuing this RFI to determine if there exist an adequate number of qualified contractors with the requisite experience and skill sets required to provide:
An APPLE®-certified Engineer possessing Apple Certified Mac Technician (ACMT) certification and OS X certified to provide hardware/software support and repairs for OS X 10.5 to current Apple operating systems; install parts; integrate, configure, setup, update, and troubleshoot products; provide maintenance and support; and provide technical support on XSAN applications when deployed on Fibre channel and Ethernet networks. Must be able to support iOS devices.
The APPLE(®) certified Engineer shall possess a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance.
