DeEtte Gray appointed chair of AFCEA International’s board
Arlington, VA-based CACI International Inc announced on Mayy 15 that President of U.S. Operations DeEtte Gray has been appointed chair of AFCEA International’s board of directors. Gray’s two-year term commenced May 14, 2018. The AFCEA executive committee and board of directors consists of leaders from the defense, intelligence, and academic communities that is representative of the association’s diverse membership and inclusive of individuals from the next generation of leaders. Gray had previously served as the board’s vice chair.
AFCEA was established in 1946 as a non-profit membership association dedicated to increasing knowledge through the exploration of issues relevant to its members in information technology, communications, and electronics for the defense, homeland security, and intelligence communities.
As chair of the board of directors, Gray will lead AFCEA in its mission to support its members and plan for its future. She will oversee the affairs of the association, presiding over the council, the board of directors, and the executive committee, and serves as ex officio member of all association committees and subcommittees.
At CACI, Gray leads the company’s U.S. Operations business groups in delivering operational excellence and driving company growth. She has over 20 years of experience supporting IT technology, cyber security, and intelligence customers and contributes significantly to CACI’s strategic planning. Her appointment reflects CACI’s commitment to AFCEA’s goals for advancing our nation through partnering and communication among government, industry, and academia.
