DARPA posts SID support synopsis

On March 7, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency posted a synopsis for physical security support services (Solicitation Number: HR001118R0003).

This is NOT a request for proposal. The purpose of this notice is to synopsize the requirement for Physical Security Support Services to be performed at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), 675 N. Randolph St., Arlington, VA 22203.

The contracting office is the DARPA Contracts Management Office (CMO). The Contracting Officer is Mary Beth Colavito.

The proposed solicitation number is HR001118R0003 with an anticipated closing response date of April 23, 2018. The acquisition is being offered for competition limited to eligible 8(a) participants under NAICS Code 561612 “Security Guards and Patrol Services”.

Description of Requirement: Contractor support services are required to support the Security and Intelligence Directorate (SID) at DARPA. In fulfilling this responsibility, SID desires support services in developing, implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving programs that complement the DARPA mission, facilitate the secure and successful accomplishments of the SID mission – protecting DARPA personnel, information, property, and business continuity – and that fully comply with Public Law, National Policy, applicable Executive Orders, and Department of Defense Directives, Instructions, and Regulations. This requirement includes Visitor Welcome Center / DARPA Conference Center Support Services, Transportation Services, Uniformed Security Services, Physical & Technical Security Services, and Antiterrorism & Emergency Management Services.

The contract period is anticipated to be a 1-year base period plus four (4) 1-year option periods.
