DARPA announces Otter Proposers Day

On December 22, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) announced a Proposers Day for the Otter program. The event will be held on January 19.

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Tactical Technology Office (TTO) is sponsoring a Proposers Day to provide information to potential proposers on the objectives of the Otter program in advance of a planned solicitation. The Proposers Day will be held on January 19, 2023, at the DARPA Conference Center from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Eastern Time (ET). Advance registration is required.

Otter will develop and demonstrate propulsion technologies enabling sustained operations in Very Low Earth Orbit (VLEO).  VLEO is defined as altitudes less than 450km.  Otter is seeking system level approaches and subsystem development that will enable persistent satellite operations in VLEO.  The program anticipates multiple performers across the two technical areas, thruster and vehicle integrator.

Proposers Day will be held at the DARPA Conference Center at 675 North Randolph Street, Arlington, VA 22203 on January 19, 2023. Check-in begins at 7:00 a.m.

Participants must register for the Proposers Day through the registration website: https://cvent.me/YbxOB5
