Cyemptive acquires Interpreting Technology

Cyemptive Technologies, Inc., headquartered in Snohomish, WA and winner of the Department of Homeland Security’s national competition for most innovative border security-related solution in the market, today announced its continued business expansion with its acquisition of Interpreting Technology, an award-winning IT services and support company headquartered in the Pacific Northwest.

Terms of the agreement were not immediately disclosed; however, Cyemptive said it plans to expand its offerings and overall footprint by utilizing Interpreting Technology’s expertise in customer service, computer forensics and cyber compliance. In addition, the acquisition of Interpreting Technology adds more than 250 customers to Cyemptive’s already-expanding list of customers.

“We are pleased to announce the acquisition of Interpreting Technology,” said Rob Pike, CEO and founder of Cyemptive Technologies. “Interpreting Technology is an award-winning organization with an impressive team that has built an excellent reputation for quality, innovation and customer service over many years of serving their clients in the Pacific Northwest, led by their CEO, Pamela Santangelo and Adrian Santangelo, Founder and CIO. The addition of the entire team, along with Adrian’s past background in “white hat” hacking and his deep forensic expertise, adds significant bench strength to Cyemptive.”

“The acquisition of Interpreting Technology adds additional expertise and customer focus to the Cyemptive team,” said Jim DuBois, Cyemptive chief strategy officer and former chief information security officer for Microsoft. “Interpreting Technology’s computer forensic experience as well as their work in helping shape the certification process around the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification, known as CMMC – the certification procedure developed by the Department of Defense to certify that contractors have the controls to protect sensitive data – establishes a strong compliance service offering within Cyemptive to complement our groundbreaking failsafe, pre-emptive cyber protection technologies.”

“Our customers have always been our primary focus,” said Adrian Santangelo, founder and CIO of Interpreting Technology, who is joining the Cyemptive leadership team. “Cyemptive’s cyber protection technology is groundbreaking like no other we’ve seen to date, and completely changes the model for cybersecurity. The combination of Cyemptive’s disruptive technology, Interpreting Technology’s customer sales and support, and the expertise existing in both companies creates a company strongly positioned to make a major difference in cybersecurity.”
