Core4ce names David Luber to board of advisors

On September 4, Core4ce announced that David Luber is joining the company’s board of advisors. Luber concluded a nearly four-decade career with the National Security Agency (NSA) when he retired in May, most recently serving as the agency’s director of cybersecurity.

Earlier in his tenure at the NSA, Luber spent nearly four years as deputy director of the cybersecurity directorate, where he oversaw operations and led strategies that drove significant change across the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense’s cyber community. He was also instrumental in expanding the agency’s Cybersecurity Collaboration Center. Previously, he served as executive director at United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM), where he led an organization of more than 12,000 personnel, including more than 6,000 cyber warriors across 133 Cyber Mission Force Teams.

“Over the course of my career at the NSA, I had the privilege of leading cybersecurity operations and developing strategies to strengthen the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense’s ability to defend against evolving threats,” said Luber. “Joining Core4ce’s Board of Advisors is an opportunity to continue that mission with a company that has a proven record of leveraging cutting-edge technology and strategic partnerships in the fight against cyber adversaries. I’m excited to lend my experience to help guide the company’s leaders and drive new initiatives that expand and strengthen our nation’s cyber defense.”

Core4ce is a leader in federal cybersecurity, combining seasoned security experts, proprietary methodologies, and unique access to cyber threat intelligence to help defense and intelligence customers strengthen their digital resilience. With capabilities spanning the full spectrum of cyber defense – from continuous vulnerability discovery, risk-based prioritization, and remediation management to DevSecOps engineering and Zero Trust architecture validation – and augmented by an innovative threat intelligence platform and propriety data feed that enriches breach intelligence from the Dark Web, Core4ce enables customers to protect critical networks and proactively counter emerging cyber threats, according to the company.

“David’s addition to the board marks a significant milestone for Core4ce,” said Core4ce CEO Mike Morehouse. “His decades of leadership at the NSA and deep expertise spanning signals intelligence and national security systems will guide us in navigating a complex security landscape. I am confident his perspective will not only strengthen the solutions we develop for our customers, but also inspire new initiatives that push the boundaries of what is possible in cyber defense in the era of AI.”
