On April 3, CACI International Inc announced that it has been awarded a five-year task order valued at up to $54 million to continue supporting the U.S. Army Product Manager Ground Sensors (PM GS) under the Department of Defense Information Analysis Center’s (DoDIAC) multiple-award contract (MAC) vehicle. CACI will provide current and future operational capability and efficiency throughout the life cycle of critical ground sensors, including night vision, electro-optics, and thermal systems used by warfighters at home and abroad.
“CACI’s support for the Army’s advanced ground sensor technology is vital to protecting our soldiers,” said John Mengucci, CACI president and chief executive officer. “With cutting-edge software-defined solutions that enhance their situational awareness and combat effectiveness, we’re not just boosting operational capabilities – we’re helping to protect American troops at the southern border and in foreign territories, ensuring mission success in the most challenging environments.”
CACI will work with Army PM GS to develop and advance sensor systems and multisensory suites providing rapid technology solutions that include artificial intelligence, autonomy, and human-machine interfaces. CACI’s engineers will help the Army enhance target acquisition, situational awareness, and battlefield command and control capabilities for soldiers in around-the-clock combat operations.
