CACI to support USAF’s Integrated Broadcast Service

CACI International Inc announced on October 2 that it has been awarded a five-year contract valued at more than $73 million to continue its work modernizing the Department of the Air Force’s network for transmitting time-sensitive tactical and strategic intelligence and targeting data across multiple domains, including air, ground, and space, for the Department of Defense (DOD) and U.S. allies.

“At the tactical edge, warfighters need near-real-time, properly vetted military intelligence to improve situational awareness, make critical decisions, and ensure successful mission outcomes,” said John Mengucci, CACI president and chief executive officer. “Based on our intrinsic experience and knowledge, we are uniquely qualified to deploy software-defined solutions that broaden network capabilities for the Air Force, enabling them to simultaneously consume information at various levels of classification while acting with the urgency and precision necessary to bolster national security and maintain superiority.”

The Integrated Broadcast Services—Network Services (IBS-NS) for the U.S. Air Force is vital for ensuring secure, timely, accurate, and comprehensive situational awareness. CACI will leverage software-defined technology to deliver a secure system that encompasses more than 500 interface data exchange requirements to provide actionable intelligence derived from multiple levels of classification and applicable in multiple domains.
