CACI awarded multi-million dollar task order to continue developing electronic warfare technologies for U.S. Army
CACI International Inc announced on May 9 that it has been awarded a multi-million dollar task order to continue its Development, Engineering, and Protection Services (DEPS) support for the U.S. Army Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate (I2WD). This multi-year task order, awarded under the Rapid Response-Third Generation contract vehicle, represents continuing work for Arlington, VA-based CACI in its Intelligence Systems and Support market area.
I2WD is the U.S. Army’s center for research and development of advanced cyber operations, electronic warfare, signals intelligence technologies, radar, and intelligence analysis, exploitation, and dissemination capabilities. Under the DEPS award, CACI will provide software and hardware engineering support to help I2WD secure air and ground platforms against electronic warfare attack and assist in developing countermeasures.
John Mengucci, CACI’s chief operating officer and president of U.S. operations, said, “CACI will continue to match our solutions to the U.S. Army Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate’s environments in order to improve the survivability of air and ground platforms.”
According to CACI President and Chief Executive Officer Ken Asbury, “CACI’s significant investment in the field of electronic warfare, combined with our innovative technologies, is helping to provide the Army with the resources it needs to effectively meet mission requirements and support our military men and women.”
