CACI awarded $48M US Naval Surface Warfare Center task order
Arlington, VA-based CACI International Inc announced on July 3 that it has been awarded a $48 million task order to provide engineering and technical related services (ETRS) to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division. The five-year, single-award contract, awarded under the U.S. Navy’s SeaPort II Omnibus Engineering and Technical Support Services contract vehicle, represents continuing engineering services work in CACI’s Surveillance and Reconnaissance market area.
CACI will support the Division’s Picatinny Detachment, which manages gun weapons systems, ammunition, packaging, handling, storage, and transportation of ordnance materials for the Navy. CACI will provide technical systems engineering analysis, engineering studies, test and evaluation support, and integrated product support for multiple gun weapons systems. The company will also provide engineering, technical, and logistics support services to the programs responsible for acquiring, managing, storing, transporting, and deploying all conventional naval ammunition and missile weapon systems.
