C5MI announced in late May the appointment of Brian Drzewiecki as president and chief operating officer (COO), effective immediately. In this role, Drzewiecki will oversee enterprise strategy, operational execution, and growth initiatives as the company advances its mission to deliver next-generation digital supply chain solutions to global industrial, logistics, and federal/Department of Defense clients.
Drzewiecki brings over two decades of senior executive experience across government contracting, aerospace and defense, national security, and industrial services sectors. Most recently, he served as chief operating and financial officer at Research Innovations Inc. (RII), a high-growth GovCon technology firm supporting software engineering, cyber operations, and command-and-control systems for U.S. and Five Eyes national security customers.
Throughout his career, Drzewiecki has led over $3 billion in mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, driving operational transformation, financial performance, and long-term enterprise value creation. Drzewiecki has trusted relationships across the Department of Defense and with major defense contractors.
“We are excited to welcome Brian as our new president and COO,” said Don Young, chief executive officer of C5MI. “His deep operational leadership, financial expertise, and strategic mindset will be critical as we scale our operations and drive innovation across our service offerings. Brian’s ability to lead complex organizations and deliver results makes him an ideal fit for this next growth phase.”
“I’m honored to join C5MI at such a pivotal moment in its growth evolution,” said Drzewiecki. “The company’s ability to deliver end-to-end digital supply chain transformation by leveraging the C5MI maturity model towards full automation through SAP innovation is truly differentiated. I look forward to working alongside our customers, leadership team, and strategic investors to unlock new performance and value across the enterprise.”
