Booz Allen wins contract from the NATO Communications and Information Agency

Booz Allen logo 112Booz Allen Hamilton of McLean, VA announced on March 1 that is has been selected by the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA) as the prime contractor for the NCIA Support Services Contract (SSC) Area 2 Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The award encompasses a base year and two option years.

The mission of the NCIA is to:

  • Deliver command, control and communications (C3) capabilities while ensuring coherence and interoperability in compliance with agreed NATO architectures;
  • Ensure the delivery of secure communication and information systems (CIS) services to its customers;
  • Provide capabilities and services “other than C3/CIS” to NATO and nations, as approved by the Agency Supervisory Board (ASB); and
  • Enable Consultation, Command and Control and to facilitate the seamless integration of Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance, Target Acquisition functions and their associated information exchange.

It is the aim of the Agency to accomplish its mission by continuously improving coherency, effectiveness, efficiency and delivering cost savings. The Mission therefore includes IT-support to the Alliances’ business processes to the NATO HQ, the Command Structure and NATO Agencies.

Booz Allen will support NCIA’s mission by providing strategy and implementation, as well as, operations and continuous improvement support to a variety of clients. By enabling clients to reduce redundancies and achieve efficiencies, Booz Allen helps clients mitigate risk and focus on their core missions

Under the Support Services Contract, Booz Allen will provide services for NCIA’s Service Line Managers and customers in such areas as: Military Functional Expertise; Military Exercise Support Analysis; Operations Research Analysis; Individual Education and Collective Training; and Military Program Management, among other capabilities.
