B&A announces acquisition of Hexagon US Federal’s Strategic Services and Solutions intelligence, defense portfolio

On July 2, B&A announced the acquisition of Hexagon US Federal’s Strategic Services and Solutions (HS3) Intelligence and Defense portfolio. This acquisition represents a significant expansion of B&A’s capabilities in delivering mission-critical enterprise information management, integrated product solutions, cybersecurity, and geospatial services to the defense, intelligence, and national security sectors.

The HS3 portfolio is recognized globally for its leadership in geospatial services, mission-focused IT, and integrated solutions enabling cyber assurance and situational awareness. With a strong history of delivering innovative, high-impact capabilities, the portfolio’s offerings complement and enhance B&A’s strategic vision of providing connected, autonomous, and secure solutions in support of federal missions.

“Combining our strengths further enables B&A to deliver advanced mission-critical technologies that directly support national and operational priorities,” said Jonathan Evans, president and CEO of B&A. “This will not only expand our access to essential contract vehicles but also deepen our expertise in field-ready systems integration, geospatial services, enterprise information management, and cybersecurity—strengthening our ability to meet today’s most complex defense and intelligence challenges.”

The acquisition enhances B&A’s scalability and service offerings in alignment with the evolving needs of the defense, intelligence, and broader national security landscape, according to the company.

“The acquisition of Hexagon US Federal’s HS3 business unit by B&A marks an exciting new chapter for our team,” said Troy Sutherland, HS3 business unit director, Hexagon US Federal. “B&A’s dedicated focus on government services offers the strategic alignment and mission-driven culture our employees value. This move strengthens our current capabilities while unlocking new opportunities to grow and deliver greater impact for our government partners.”

“This strategic acquisition reinforces B&A’s position as a premier provider of technology solutions to the federal government,” said Doug Gilbert, partner at DFW Capital Partners. “The integration of HS3 capabilities not only accelerates B&A’s growth trajectory but also strengthens its ability to deliver innovative, mission-focused solutions across the intelligence and defense communities.”
