Army posts solicitation for enhanced medium altitude reconnaissance and surveillance system multi-intelligence (EMARSS-M) modification

On January 29, the US Army posted the following solicitation (number W58RGZ-15-R-0039). The closing date for proposals is March 2, 2015.
The proposed contractual action is a new services, sole source, firm fixed price incentive firm (FPIF) type contract for the modification of one Government-owned Quick Reaction Capability (QRC) Liberty Project Aircraft (LPA) to add new capabilities (i.e., net-ready, tactical data links) so that it is similar to an Enhanced Medium Altitude Reconnaissance and Surveillance System (EMARSS). At the conclusion of this modification effort, the LPA will be re-designated as EMARSS – Multi-Intelligence (EMARSS-M).
The 18-month period of performance is comprised of 12 months of system design and integration followed by six months of Government airworthiness and operational testing.
