Air Force posts UISS RFI

On March 30, the U.S. Air Force posted a request for information (RFI) for Unclassified Information Sharing Service sustainment. Responses are due by 12:00 p.m. Eastern on April 13.

The United States Air Force (USAF) Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Command, Control, Communications, and Intelligence (C3I) and Networks Directorate (HN), C3I Infrastructure Division (HNI) Program Management Office (PMO) is issuing this RFI as part of its effort to sustain the enterprise-wide Air Force (AF) Unclassified Information Sharing Service (UISS).

Mission Partner Environment (MPE) UISS provides an environment that promotes the sharing of unclassified information in situations where US military services must be able to collaborate with traditional (coalition nations) as well as non-traditional Mission Partners (non-governmental organizations or agencies). This is developed to research potential alternatives used to meet the Mission Partner Capability Office (MPCO) needs for sharing Impact Level (IL) 2 – 5 information across the DoD enterprise and Mission Partners while also meeting the agreed upon UISS baselines.
