Air Force posts FUSIONS RFI

On May 14, the U.S. Air Force posted a sources sought notice for FUSIONS services. Responses are due by 4:00 p.m. Central on June 4.

This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought/Request for Information (RFI) for industry comment. Please note this notice is NOT a Request for Proposals (RFP). This RFI is in consideration of a potential solicitation for “Full Spectrum ISR Operational NAF Support (FUSIONS) Services” at multiple locations throughout CONUS and OCONUS.

The Government is considering a contract which will deliver a key decisional advantage to the 25 Air Force (AF)/Component Commander (CC) and Joint Force Air Component Commander JFACCs by delivering timely and relevant intelligence data/products to the war fighter. The FUSIONS contract will enable critical support functions in all major work centers of the operations center (OC) and will further enable the 25 AF/CC to exercise both command and control (C2) authorities as well as Service Cryptologic Element roles.

The primary location for this effort will be located at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland (JBSA). Customers supported are the 625 OC, the 25 AF staff, 25 AF subordinate units, Service Cryptologic Component partners, and 5 Regional and 3 Functional Combatant commands. TDY travel at CONUS and OCONUS locations will also be part of the work.

The intent of this RFI is to locate potential sources for this requirement. The information obtained in this RFI will be used to build an acquisition strategy for FUSIONS Services at various installations. All submission will be used for market intelligence purposes, will become the property of the Government and will not be returned.
