ArdentMC awarded task order for DHS geospatial technical support services

ArdentMC 112Ardent Management Consulting (ArdentMC) of Reston, VA announced on February 11 that it was awarded the Data Coordination Task Order under the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Geospatial Technical Support Services (GTSS) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA).  The four (4) year task order, awarded under the $98 million multi-award BPA, provides support services for the Homeland Infrastructure Foundation Level Data (HIFLD) subcommittee, and other internal DHS geospatial data activities.

ArdentMC will continue the work and the expansion of HIFLD, which was originally established as a joint effort in 2004 led by the Department of Defense (DoD), the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), and the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) to develop and promote a coordinated strategy to address the identification, collection, processing, sharing, and improvement of homeland security infrastructure geospatial information across all levels of government while providing a flexible environment to build partnerships with state, local, tribal, territorial and private organizations.

In support and continuation of these objectives, ArdentMC has partnered with Booz Allen Hamilton to provide program and data management, website implementation and maintenance, data integration and interoperability, training, and quality assurance and testing under the Data Coordination task order.

Brandon LaBonte, ArdentMC President and Chief Executive Officer, said, “Ardent is very excited about the combination of technical work and client-facing engagement on this contract and looks forward to expanding its contribution to the DHS Geospatial Management Office.”
